Ah… Sleeping In

I think it is great that a new generation of church goers are willing to meet at non-traditional times. My church meets on Sunday nights. I love it! The first time I heard of a church not meeting on a Sunday morning time was in high school. I thought it was really weird at the time. The church was in my hometown and they met on Friday night.
Consequently, I looked into what the Bible had to say about it and found that the Bible has no prescription for what day of the week the church is to have their meetings. As always, the Truth will set you free! There is something to be said for celebrating on the day of Christ's Resurrection, but there are other ways to make our churches Christ-centered as well. Also, remember to combine all that your church does to sound Biblical teaching, pointing out, for example, the error that Seventh-Day Adventists make for holding worship meetings on Saturdays.
Thanks for this post PJ!

Very interesting! At first I was like, "Are you serious? Meet at another time of day?" but it's not actually that unusual to me. River and Christ the King (I'm pretty sure) both meet later in the day, and I attended River for awhile and appreciated having the morning. I would go for either evening. I like the proposition.
